A joyful and colorful festival Holi is a Hindu religious festival popularly known s the Festival of colors and signifies the end of winter and the arrival of spring.
The celebration begins with Holika Dahan the previous night (Phalguna Purnima).
It ends with Bhai Dooj the next day and generally falls in the later part of February or March every year. Celebrates the victory of good over evil, particularly the destruction of a demoness named Holika.
Generally, it starts in the morning when people play with color powers and water. After that, it is more of meeting with families, friends, and relatives in the evening. It usually falls in the later part of February or March every year.
Holi festival, also known as Rangwali Holi or Dhulandi, is celebrated as an honor to the everlasting love of Lord Krishna and Radha. The Festival is celebrated by Hindus in India, Nepal, South Africa, U.K. U. S.A, Canada, Australia, Mauritius, Fiji, and Surinam.
