Indian Independence Day was celebrated annually on August 15th in remembrance of India's Independence from the United Kingdom on August 15th, 1947. This day Indians salute all the sacrifices that were made by our freedom fighters to set India free and become independent.
How to celebrate Indian Independence?
As usual, the Prime Minister of India hoists the flag from Red Fort in Delhi and addresses the nation. A parade of the army and police members. All over Indian states and Union Territories, cities, and rural areas of India will also celebrate the same level. Indians wear unique traditional dress to celebrate their nation and culture. Peoples participate in Kite flying; it represents the freedom gained today.
